How could it be synchronised if it's not a clock?
Now, to what extent are they flocking at this stage?
And will they stay flocking when they get into the sea?
Flocking, Richard, is the term I should say.
I keep on thinking birds, you know.
I always think of fish in the same way as birds, but go on anyway.
So they have a migration program.
Oh, absolutely.
And is that contained in every fish then that they all know where to go?
Well, are they all tribes then?
I came out of the Boynes, for instance.
When I come back, I must go to the Boyne.
I can't go to the Slaney or the Liffey or something like that.
So this would dictate tribes developing.
Is that what happens?
And the tribe could die out and things go against it?
Well, have they got the ability to colonise new places then or are they bound by their tradition to go to one place and nowhere else?
