Okay, hello.
This is Jonathan Kreisel looking at the Digital Short Rescue Dogs 3D, a instant classic.
So, yes, of course, technology is always, you know, getting in bed with marketing departments for stupid movies, and it's still going on.
And I think this piece is still relevant today.
But anyway, I was coming to SNL straight from Tim and Eric, where I had created a lot of interfaces of technology destroying your life in annoying, stupid ways.
And the absurdity of technology and technology
this was the early app days where apps were still like very cool.
And there was a lot of, you know, marketing departments just love to get in there.
So rescue dogs feels like an Andy concept to me and getting Helen Mirren.
It's just the dumbest thing, but it's, I love how seriously this whole thing is taken and how serious the filmmaking is and how serious this plate is.
And then the,
seeing this really bad movie, which is also done very well for the parody of a bad dog movie.
Um, Fred's arm getting ripped off.
I kind of remember some discussions of like how violent that should be, how fast this should be, but it turned out really funny.
Um, but else I feel like Andy has been texting me about this or we've every time we've been talking about rescue dogs is like something that is so bad, but I don't know why it's so bad.
But it was a dumb idea along the lines of Booker Man, which I'm sure you guys covered, but taking very stupid concepts very, very seriously.
And I think the audience is a little bit like, I can't believe these people are taking this so seriously and that this is the idea.
This is the idea.
This is what all this like cool thriller movie making is going towards.
But I think that's always funny.
