At the back of my career, I had an opportunity to go to Borough, which I really enjoyed.

That's Merce, yeah.

Merce just knocking that one through.

Took me about quarter an hour to get back, I think, there from that one.

but uh i you know we did we got promoted straight away and uh there he is

There's Robbo having a little drop for a change.

And Gazza.

A lot of people don't remember that Gazza played in the Championship.

He did.

I mean, listen, that team, you know, we had Gaz, we had Gary Pallister, Merce was there, myself, I think Ince came.

You know, Robbo had a lot of good players there.

We got to a League Cup final in 98.

Middlesbrough and unfortunately we got beat by Chelsea.

That one just went, you know, we just missed out on that one.

But I think Brian did a really good job and it would have been great for Robbo if he'd have just been able to win a trophy with Borough.

You know, he had a couple of attempts, a couple of finals before I came and then we had that one in 98 and it's a shame we couldn't quite get over the line.

But I really enjoyed it there because I'd played it down in the south.

I played in London in the Midlands and I loved it playing up in the northeast.

It was great fun.
