I think the league is nearly too long.
If I'm condensing anything I want to see, let's condense the league and allow a bit more breathing space in Championship.
And you are trying to, I suppose, give coverage to bigger games.
But like even take the, I just can't get my head around, the Leinster Hurling final on a Saturday, the Munster Hurling final on a Sunday.
Like they're too pivotal.
parts of the Hurling Championship they're on the same weekend you know the media coverage is divided you know some supporters love trying to get to both games you know financially it's a big tall order I just I try and figure out who's winning here and I as a club and county player myself I just if you look at every county across Ireland a lot of county finals are still taking place the middle to the end of October
As they were prior condensed championships.
So I wonder if we extended the championship, say to the middle of August, rather than it being to the middle of September, just give it that four weeks of a breathing space.
I think it would do a lot for everybody.
And I still think it wouldn't impact on club championships too much.
Yeah, like if you look at Armagh, like, I mean, they lost that game.
Then, you know, most of those players had to do a week of work and then travelled all the way down to Kerry.
And like you alluded to, David, when you are winning something, momentum is with you.
And of course, as a team, you want to keep playing.
But when you lose...
Definitely it's against you because I can remember, you know, suffering heavy defeats or shock defeats.
You're trying to pull yourself together.
It's nearly Wednesday by the time you've come out of that lull.
And then you're facing into, you know, the next round and like this knockout football or knockout hurling.
So I do think it's putting a lot on players.
