Well, the famous example in the Second World War that our grandparents always used to talk about was the Doodlebugs, wasn't it?
The Doodlebug was basically a German drone, essentially.
Yes, the V1, which it would be fired and it was sort of like powered by a sort of jet as it went through the air.
And it was programmed to stop at a certain point.
And the famous thing about the doodle bug, which everyone always remembers, is that when its engine was programmed to cut out, that was when it plummets out of the air.
So you hear that and then a sudden silence, which actually a friend of mine in the village, Laurie, is in his early 90s.
