But not everyone agreed with them.
Keith's family, his own family, stood by Darlene completely.
They were adamant that the police had made a mistake in all of this, that she was being unfairly targeted, that the real killer was still out there somewhere.
They knew how much Darlene loved Keith.

That's how sure they were that she was innocent.
So just like that, Darlene was out of jail.
She was out on bond.
And it's so crazy because it was done so quickly that she was actually home in time to tuck her kids into bed that night, that very same night.
Which it's really hard to not feel for the Gentry family.
