And I wasn't really worried about that.
I took the reverse role of like, man, I want to make the AA or AAA club.
Let's see if I can do that first.
And
So I did.
I made AAA, and then, you know, that team was so much fun, and I had such a great time there.
And, you know, the Dodgers came trading for me, and off I went.
So it was a lesson of, you know, just a reminder of, like, you know, regardless of how dark it is, you just have to have fun.
You got to have some light into it and a sense of, like, find the light.
Find some fun.
Find some joy into it.
And good things are going to come.
And I was happy.
I was happy to just continue working and continue getting to know the guys, continue helping the younger guys in AAA if I was going to stay there all year.
I was cool with it.
That was my mindset.
I wasn't expecting anything.
um and you know so just kept my head down kept kept working and having fun at the same time you know one of the common themes when i'm listening to you it's having fun but also learning and maybe learning is having fun right yeah yeah i i typically have a lot more uh you know fun in baseball when i learn something new about what i can do you know what i mean so like
uh, you know, when I got to the Dodgers, it was the slider, you know, everybody always told me I couldn't throw a slider just because of the way my throw was.
And, uh, when I learned the slider, it was like a new toy.
