That's why I'm so grateful for everything that has been presented to me through baseball, through people that I've met along the way.

That's why I never turn anybody away because you never know what you're going to learn from them.

You never know, you know.

And so I always take the time to, you know, just talk to people, five-minute conversation, two-minute conversation, whatever it may be.

Maybe you say something that helps out.

You never know.

So that's what we're all in this for, you know.

Sure, baseball is a game where we're out there competing, trying to win a baseball game and this and that.

But, you know, I think our meaning and our existence is so much more important than baseball in the sense of, you know,

a Mookie Betts, a Freddie Freeman, you know, down to myself, you know, some, you know, somebody that just got there that has one day, like,

You never know.

You never know who's going to make that impact or who's going to change your life forever.

Yeah, and it doesn't always have to be all on you to figure it out.

Like, you know, that's why there's people around you to help you figure that out.

Whether it may be your kids, it may be your wife, it may be a coach, it may be some stranger.
