The motor is always on too.
So I do feel like it's a, it's a situation where Caleb Holtrick is the best offensive center in
other than Viggo Bjork in this class, but he's not as talented as those two other really high-quality, high-offensive forwards in McKenna and Stenberg.
Yeah, it's a very good question.
And this is one of those interesting draft classes where it's kind of like 2024, where you have a really good crop of defensemen, but in terms of the top four, I think that, you know, it's Verhoff, Reed, Carroll's and Smeets in any order.
I think that Smeets is probably on the outside looking in, in terms of, you know,
tougher to interview and not as personable.
So even though he's one of the most athletic defensemen and very physical defenseman in this class, and it has been playing pro in terms of like in Liga and then DEL in Germany where, you know, he scored two goals, four assists and 11 playoff games and Maury Sider, who is player comp only had five assists and 14 games.
So I think that's really interesting in terms of the drop-off because I
Yeah, there is Ryan Lennon, Dixon Rudolph, and also like a guy like Malte Gustafson, which I think, and Villeneuve, if you want to put them in there.
And I think they're in a different tier than Smits, Reid, Carrolls, and Verhoff.
But right now it's Verhoff, Reid, and Carrolls are in the same tier.
And then it's Smits looking on the outside, looking in.
And Smits could ultimately be, you know, the best defenseman in this class, but I just don't really understand the offensive ability of
to get to a Chase Reed, because Chase Reed is obviously 6'2", like a defenseman that has really good offensive instincts, a great shot, moves really well, and he models his game after Zach Wierenski, and you can kind of see flashes with Carson Carroll.
He models his game after Jake Sanderson.
You could see why with the efficient skating, the really good two-way game, and the defensive ability to kind of steal possessions and turn those possessions into breakout passes, as well as
the physicality in his game that he continues to show over and over.
And then Keaton Verhoff, a 6'4", right-handed, and his ability offensively and defensively, they don't grow on trees.
So that's why I think that you should take him for the upside.
