He's got a little curveball to go with it, changeup.
And he's got one of the more explosive arms in the organization.
He's not going to touch 99, but he can pump it up there a little bit at 96, 97 miles an hour, and it jumps out of his hand pretty good.
Yeah, look, I mean, I won't speak for others, but I can tell you this.
I mean, from my perspective and what I've heard, he's very impressive.

It's hard because when you're a two-pitch guy and you don't have one of your weapons on any given night, I think that sets you up for some inconsistency.
And I'd say over the years, we've seen that from Kevin Gausman.
We've seen a guy who can go out there and dominate when he's got both pitches.
But if he doesn't have one, it makes life a little bit more difficult.
It doesn't mean he can't be successful anyway.
And certainly, we've seen him be successful more often than not.
That's a credit to him, you know, and his ability to be ready and to have either of those pitches when he needs them.
But again, it's difficult when it's just two pitches because if one of them โ
eludes you for the day, for the night, that can make it much more difficult to go out there and be competitive at the big league level.
Yeah, honestly, I think I was on MLB Now yesterday and I was talking about this and I surprised some people because I said I'm actually more worried about the Phillies right now.
And I know that, look, the Mets haven't looked great either.
But I can honestly say that on the Mets side, they've had some starting pitching that's looked pretty darn good this year.
Nolan McLean does look like a stud.
That kid looks fantastic.
