You know, it's embarrassing because I can't speak for the school system in California, but I would imagine sometime in the first grade, like the school system here in New York, you read The Emperor Has No Clothes. I was seven when I first read this brilliant piece of literature. Yeah.

If you want to have the counter narrative to the nonsense that's going on, those families, and this would be my own family, they voted for the Franklin Roosevelt's, they voted for the Jack Kennedy's, they voted for the Lyndon Johnson's. But it seems like we just lost our way and we left those people out of the American aspirational economy. Many of those people now sort of feel desperational.
