yeah early 90s yeah you know that whole barrel of a gun era like all the language around the visuals was so powerful i think so too i think it was incredible courageous of them to trust me with all that at the same time it helped them a lot because they that image was hopeless and somehow the two of us made great work i used super 8 initially

little childish i think sometimes the stories i came up with you know we were all young and the stories were quite often sexually in the lyrics and dave was a great actor so i made little stories that they could act out and then with songs of faith and devotion i started using 16 millimeter and not film myself anymore but

Angelic, she's wonderful.

I mean, it was for the NMEA cover and I was influenced by some old Hollywood photography from the 30s or 50s.

So I was doing the studio with her hair all around her.

It's a great picture, but that's the second time I met her.

I met her once in the 70s and took a picture of her outside the record company.

That doesn't count for much.

Yeah, her music is so beautiful and powerful.

It's incredible what she was capable of at a young age.

They all help me more than I help them.
