But if you dig further, you will find that it is quite okay for them to lie about Islam.
So what's the difference between a Sunni Muslim and a Shia Muslim?
Because a lot of people won't know that.
It's a complex story, but it boils down to simply one thing, which is when Muhammad died, he didn't leave a successor behind.
The problem with Muhammad is that he wasn't just a prophet.
He was also the head of state and he was a warlord.
So the state that he established was left without leadership after he died.
So the Muslims had to appoint somebody as the new leader.
There was one faction of them who wanted his cousin and son-in-law Ali to be appointed as the next leader.
There were others who said, no, it should actually be this guy named Abu Bakr, who was also the father of Muhammad's child bride, that he should be the new leader because he is very wise.
So this whole dispute about who should be the next leader, who should succeed Muhammad, caused a dispute among two sides.
It went further on into generations, which is very, very funny.
The successors of Muhammad, who took over after him, they all either suspiciously died or were killed by other Muslims.
So the infighting started immediately.
Those who sided with Ali later on came to be known as the Shia Muslims and those who sided with the regular appointed successor Abu Bakr became known as the Sunni Muslims, which is follow the Muhammad's traditions and all that properly.
because those who sided with Ali were not quite as popular, they became the smaller sect, the Shia, who had their own traditions.
But essentially they are the same.
It is very, very much just a matter of political succession and all that.
That's all it is.
That's it.
