and their general belief system.
Very easy.
I would say they are lying and they are taking it out of context.
Just like that.
But why do so many do it?
If you're really true to your religion and you believe it with every fibre of your being, why pretend it's not what it is?
Of course, the response in that when we deal with apologists, it is easy when they make such an accusation and say that I am lying or people like me are lying and taking things out of context, it would be rhetorically totally fine for me to say, you know what, you are lying.
How about that?
But I also do understand where some of these people come from.
There are lots of Muslims out there who were simply born as Muslims, who were born into a Muslim family.
They were raised as Muslims.
They are at the bottom of it all, under the shell of Islam.
They are simply humans like you and me.
They live in today's world.
They are impacted and influenced by the Western values that have been spread all over the world.
They also have interactions with people
other human beings and don't necessarily always agree with the morality that Islam imposes upon them.
So in order to navigate in this world that we are in, they will sometimes deny what Islam actually is, not only to others but also to themselves.
Many people will lie to themselves and will actually convince themselves that Islam doesn't actually teach all these brutal, hateful, disgusting things.
They will try to somehow interpret it as something that it is not.
