The problem is that these efforts are often made by people who don't really take Islam that seriously and who don't adhere to it in the traditional way.
Those who do, those who are traditionalist Muslims, will generally agree with me on the things that I claimed about Islam.
They will simply, they will just explain it away and somehow argue that it is not evil to kill apostates.
I've talked to many of these Muslim apologists who are traditionalists.
They will argue that it's actually completely justified to execute people who leave Islam.
So when I say that Islam is evil, it orders the killing of apostates, they will say, I am here to refute this.
It's actually not evil and you shouldn't be singling out Islam for killing apostates.
It's actually justified because leaving Islam is a form of treason and, you know,
There are laws for treason in America and in other countries.
And because Islam is a strong religion that must have some restrictions and some punishments for treason, Islam also naturally should have the right to execute those who betray it.
So they will simply justify it and still agree with me essentially that Islam does do these things.
Or they will say that when it comes to child marriage, for example, that times were different back then.
It was okay for Mohammed to marry a little girl and rape her.
And it can still be done today.
Mohammed Hijab is one of the famous ones who has said that pedophilia is a relative thing.
If a girl matures quickly, it is okay, it is justified to marry her and have sex with her.
But he will refuse to call it child marriage because he will say that if she shows signs of growth, then she's basically β she's no longer a child.
She's basically an adult even if she's 80 years old.
So β
Most of the traditionalists, they will agree with me, with my conclusions here.
