For me, that's very telling.
And then it's also like, my mother was born in the Philippines and she moved out here and her family's in California.
That's what I know about her life.
So it's like, I don't,
I just knew to grow up fearing her.
And I knew to grow up not liking her.
And I knew that I could never disrespect my mother in calling Victoria my mother.
You know, it was one of those things.
So now for me, it's like, I think I'm at a place where I just don't understand it.
So there is bitterness.
But I also don't feel like it's my place to approach it.
Because for me, it's like you carried me at the end of the day.
So I feel like if you want to open that door, what do you have to say?
I shouldn't be the one that has to open that door.
