I think talking is really helpful for integrating it, but I had a lot of therapy through my life and I also added a lot of movement practices, a lot of meditation techniques, a lot of actual hands-on body work like rolfing and massage and things like that that helped me through my trauma.

So I did a lot of different modalities and I have always been everyone's therapist and been very fascinated with how the mind works and how to help people.

But a lot of us didn't get that secure base growing up to kind of explore life as we were developing coping mechanisms, developing our schemas and beliefs about life.
