Maybe not everything has to make sense for me.
There's a wonderful passage in the Hebrew Bible in the book of Job, which we all know, you know, Job had a tough life.
I mean, he was a good man.
And then, you know, God took everything away from him.
And, you know, he was tormented by Satan and all this whole, his kids all got killed, et cetera.
At the end of the book of Job in the Bible, he kind of...
He interrogates God.
This is a wonderful thing in the 38th chapter of Job.
And he says like, you know, I was your boy, you know, I did everything right.
And then you're like, you tormented me.
It's like, explain yourself.
And God gets all sarcastic.
It's actually hilarious if you read this.
God says, oh, oh yeah, I guess you do deserve an explanation.
Obviously you're so smart that you know why I made the heavens and the earth, right?
So answer me that.
Why did I make the heavens and the earth?
You don't know?
Oh, well, maybe you don't understand suffering either.
And the truth of the matter is that there's lots of stuff that we can't understand and that's okay.
