I think the reason why a lot of people publish books and they don't see the returns, whether they're published or they're self, is that they don't focus on one or two core audiences.
In other words, they try to go to general.
Yeah, like you're like, hey, I want to do a book on entrepreneurship.
And then you try to go to every type of entrepreneur.
But like, listen, my book's not going to connect with like baby boom entrepreneurs or millennial Z entrepreneurs.
It's like college and very early stage entrepreneurs.
I kind of knew my audience.
No, I hustled myself.
Also, and you mentioned this in my bio, I've done a lot of speaking.
So a lot of colleges that I've already built a relationship with.
One last thing I just want to say about that.
One thing I'm noticing more and more, and Gary Vee talks about this, Gary Vaynerchuk is like, you give, give, give, and then you come back and you say, all right, I've given you a lot of value.
All I'm asking for you is like...
purchase my little book, you know?
So I did a lot of speaking.
A lot of colleges was helped.
I focused on programs.
So I kind of used a B2B approach.
I don't like, I don't like charging to, I feel guilty trying to charge students, especially when you're like a broke college entrepreneur.
So I, I got over that guilt by going to the programs and saying, Hey, listen, you buy it and then you give it to the students.
