Yes, this area that has been tied to this case for decades.
And according to the report, an area that an investigator specifically noted warranted further searching based on this canine alert.
Now, again, police haven't responded to our request for comment as of this recording.
So I can't tell you if that search has ever been done.
The last thing it seems Detective Redmond ever wrote in his portion of the narrative was this single haunting line.
