And my dad was like, what are you doing?
But that was a sort of kid that was very, I was always the youngest.
Everyone around me was usually always an adult.
And yeah, it's just cool to grow up around artists, isn't it?
took me as seriously as she could she spoiled me a lot you know i was like i never wanted to go to school i didn't really like school and especially like when you had to go to church and stuff like around easter like she went to a sort of convent in lima and she would let me not go to those things she was like you don't have to do that if you don't want to um it is weird it's like you're right you're feeling so right about that
And I think both my parents, you know, to give them their props, like when I was really getting into the guitar, there wasn't anything else I wanted to do.
I just fully delved into that and started writing.
You know, they let me leave school before A-levels, and I went to music college for a year, which I also didn't finish, and then just moved to London.
And I remember my parents were like, you've got a year to make something, to do something.
But, like, I always think, like, or what, you know, like, I don't know what else I could have really done.
And then luckily I got into session musician.
