Being a new company, getting an email from somebody like Daniel Defense, I think my wife has a picture of me on the floor in our hotel room like, oh my God, this is awesome.
So we actually designed and produced an AR-10 deadlock model.
and had it at the mile team members' doorstep at the beginning of December.
So we did that just in about a month.
That's amazing.
Yeah, it was a big statement on our behalf.
We've always been very proud of our nimbleness and our ability to adapt.
So that was something that struck a chord with them.
And it's something that was very impressive to them.
So we got to walk around our first year of SHOT Show and see our charging handles in some of the rifles at the DD Mile team and got to do some of the exclusive range day stuff with them.
So that was kind of our beginning.
And that was some of our beginning of our larger exposure where folks were like, hey, I'd never heard of this company before.
But, you know, if this is something that the guys from the DD Mile team are using, then it's something that I definitely want to try.
I mean,
It's one of the most respected military and law enforcement OEM branches within our industry, right?
So immediately after SHOT Show, we had a trip over to DDHQ to talk about some of the products and some of the stuff that the guys were using.
And while we were there, we had a meeting with the commercial side that said, hey, look, we love everything this does.
The gas-defeating properties is something that we've been looking for for a while, but
The deadlock model is not necessarily something that we want to bring to a consumer basis, mainly because it is different, which obviously was not something that hurt our feelings, but also because of the price, right?
It's no secret that our deadlock handles are one of the most expensive charging handles that you can buy.
