NBC just brings so much nostalgia to me.
And it makes me miss Doc Emmerich.
It makes me miss the way that the NHL playoffs felt heightened on NBC.
And they don't feel that way for me with ESPN.
But the only thing that I have a gripe with with NBC's broadcast, and it happened with the women's final and with the men's final, is that after the game-winning goal was scored, the main camera just panned out to the crowd and...
the goalie, and we didn't get to see an immediate shot of Jack Hughes.
That has to be an immediate cutaway to see the player's reaction as he's skating around the middle of the ice in celebration.
And I felt like they held it way too long in both cases, when Keller scored and when Hughes scored.
But other than that, I thought it was a perfect broadcast.
Well, he basically said, you know who the better team was out there today.
The local police arrived on the scene as quickly as possible.
