Oh, she's let herself go, hasn't she really?
But you see, we as a species have evolved to have menopause.
which is a very clear demarcation in the life of a woman to the end of your fertility, the end of your childbearing years.
It's very clearly defined.
And again, what nobody talks about is the period of life that comes after menopause, when you have all of these freedoms and when you are free of that thing of having to look in a certain way because you need to procreate.
We have this drive, if you like, to procreate.
Yeah, okay.
So you suddenly realise, hang on a minute, I actually, as a woman, was not put on this planet to purely be decorative or to make babies.
I've done that.
And now I've got this other period of life, your third age.
If you think your first age is 1 to 30 and your second age is 30 to 60, your third age is 60 plus.
And it should be nearly of equal length again now.
It should be 30 years.
That's a huge part of your life.
When you are free, the freedom of having to conform.
But the problem is that women still believe they do.
And you mentioned women in the media.
I was, when I published my book in 2022, during COVID, I let my hair go grey.
So I didn't, like most things in my life, I didn't sit down and kind of think, I think I'll let my hair go grey.
