So I look back at the different decades of my life and some of the things that were formative to me at the different decades.
And then I talk about being in your 60s and all the good stuff about that.
But I mean, you know, there's parts of it that I think it's light and I think parts of it are a bit amusing and that's fine.
So after I published that, I got contacted by a woman called Orla DiMantino, who I think you know her, you know her.
Orla Doherty, Orla DiMantino.
So she had written her memoir and she was in a writing group called Writers Inc, which I know Vanessa who runs that.
And Vanessa suggested Orla contact me because my book was kind of memoir as well.
So Orla rang me and said, look, would I meet her for coffee someday?
You know, I might be able to give her some pointers about the book.
I said, yeah, sure.
I met her for coffee in town.
We had a chat.
I don't know if I was any way helpful to her.
And off she went.
And that was grand.
Then I met her like maybe twice more at book launches and things like that.
And at one of them, she introduced me to another woman called Val Troy.
And they had kind of hooked up through Writers Inc.
and were working on a script for a humorous script for a TV.
They were pitching it for TV.
