Maybe I said this on a podcast before, but like I had a manager at the time and I was like.

kind of feeling the same way I was like I took this manager out for a drink and I was like I'm going to all these casting director classes they all know me I'm getting really far I'm not booking it I'm you know I'm working 7,000 days out like what and I'm doing the regional shows but like whatever you know and

And he said the best advice for me, which was like, you got to work on your personal life first so that your career life can flourish from that.

And at first I was like, what do you mean I'm great?

I go to therapy like I'm OK.

And he was right.

Like, I think there was still more to be done.

And I ended up going to like really different things.

I went all the way through UCB.

I went into acting classes, which, by the way, like.

Is it a pyramid scheme?

Yeah.

Is it also real fun?

It's so much fun.

Because you're just trolling men the whole time.

You realize that.

But also, I took really, really scary acting classes with a lot of Yale MFA grads.

I really put myself in situations that...

made me open myself up a bit more and then realize, like, oh, okay.

So the Broadway thing is a very, very small entity within this large, large, large world of creation.
