But the third highest global carbon emissions comes from the textile industry and there is nothing being done to try to tackle it.
So it's not just the case of legislation.
It's also about awareness, making people understand that there is a link between the retail habits, between irresponsible consumption and our climate problems that we absolutely need to address.
Yeah, I never thought it would be applied for the UK.

And we have various carve-outs of different countries under trade agreements.
We have a trade and cooperation agreement with the UK, and I think that's something that should be discussed.

Not only has the US got rid of their de minimis rule, in other words, packages below $800 are now affected by customs issues, but the UK are bringing this in themselves.
So the European Union has to do this.
Otherwise, we'll have dumping of cheap products coming from China through these online platforms.
And we have to be serious.
If we really want Henry Street to survive, if we want those retailers...
And that retail character of the centre of Dublin to survive, we absolutely have to tackle this issue.
It's not just about the environment.
It's not just about product safety.
It's not just about human rights, by the way.

And they see all of this online and they recognise this is a problem we absolutely have to do.
