And so what I thought I'd do is because the list isn't really that long.
And so I'm going to start out with the positive effects of retirement, which we sort of, you know, Stan, I think your book example is perfect.
The positives of retirement for many people is that it improves your overall mental health.
Um, from, and, and life satisfaction and, and what goes into life satisfaction, being able to read a book, you know, there's, you know, there's one right there.
Oftentimes working, um, I don't know, for me, it's, it, you know, it's stressful.
I mean, work, you know, working, you know, is stressful.
And so, you know, a little bit less stress.
It doesn't mean that you don't get other stress once you retire.
And the life satisfaction, you know, Stan, as you alluded to, is doing things that you like to do that you didn't have time to do, but also to start engaging in things.
This now, you know, Clarence, I'm riding two horses here.
for your work life, but now with this time that you have remaining, what are you going to do that's going to be meaningful that kind of leaves that legacy of what's important to you and who you are?
And it really does play out in both those areas.
In fact, the biggest group of people who volunteer, okay, guess what?
They tend to be people in our cohort that now actually have more time for that
