It's the Indian way and hospitality, which often is misunderstood as a right by some who then try and take advantage of the situation.
We're already hearing about some players who will not be available for a variety of reasons, none of which were informed before they were selected by the franchise.
Unless franchise owners start to get tough and drop these players, they will find themselves being hampered in their efforts to win the title.
Uh, there's also, there's a few other players, but you know, Ben Duckett was bought by Delhi for two crore as well.
Uh, and as with, uh, withdrawn from the IPL signing a focus, a desire to focus on test cricket.
So we say this, uh, consistently, but, um, I would imagine if you're a player and, um, you get injured and then you're just getting fucking copying it, I'd imagine that'd be quite frustrating.
It's a really fascinating one where the IPL does not exist in a vacuum.
It exists still within the cricketing calendar for these players.
Now you look at just using the Australian team as an example, like how much test cricket they have.
And they obviously have a contractual obligation with their central contracts to Cricket Australia.
But they're looking at that and the importance of what those test matches are, for instance, to the Australian population, that they're like, I've still got a shitload of cricket that I need to play.
I need to manage myself through this.
Now, at the same time, some of these players, again, just referencing the Australian players specifically, they're getting paid heaps.
And if you're an owner, if you're like, you need to give a fuck about Australia players.
trying to win the ashes in, you know, 18, a year and a bit's time.
