I swear.
Well, I don't swear by it.
Like, I can get by without mouth tape, but I get better sleep.
Really?
It forces you to nasal breathe.
You have to find a good strip that's not going to come off.
And then if you go with something that's got too much adhesive, you got like the chapped lips, bleeding lips at the end of the morning.
So it's a fine balance.
And then because, so I'm married.
And so if you have like nighttime pillow talk, you have to time it right about the time when you think she's done talking and you don't have anything left to say and the tape goes on and you're ready to go.
Yeah, I laugh, but that's a thing.
That's like the Spartan Ngozi thing that they would have the young warriors do to, you know, like go on a run with a mouthful of gravel or water to force you to nasal breathe.
That's a guy who's pretty popular in the respiratory space, Patrick McCown.
He's a big fan of this whole, like, minimal nasal breathing.
And there's a pretty good effect on VO2 max, on humidification of the air, on nitric oxide production when you force yourself to breathe through your mouth during exercise.
