So, so far, so good.
The Gateway, not Gateway, zero hedge had the analysis on this that says that the talks broke down because Moscow, and I quote, because Moscow issued sweeping demands on Ukraine.
And here's the rub, Steve.
Here's my point.
I've got about a minute to make this point.
Anybody who has been paying attention to this war for the last three and a half years will know exactly what the Russian situation is.
And, you know, I don't want to come on the war room and name names and indicate that people in President Trump's most trusted inner circle have badly advised him.
But that is effectively what I think the situation is.
And I have to name Marco Rubio.
I can't do otherwise.
It's very...
dangerous situation that the president of the United States was allowed into this situation of calling for this summit, unaware of what the Russian negotiation position is or was going to be in negotiation.
That's really sort of a damaging situation.
And I think President Trump has reposed his trust in the wrong people.
I think he's been badly advised.
And the consequence of this is that the
escalation in nuclear rhetoric that I was just mentioning at the beginning.
And that's why you have things like Zero Hedge trying to put the spin on this, saying that the breakdown was because Moscow issued sweeping demands on Ukraine.
That's certainly not the case at all.
The talks broke down because President Trump was badly advised by his closest circle around him.
