There's some, I mean, when Carl Urban is actually the one fighting, it's slow, which again, makes sense given his age and over the hillness.
And there's, there's a, there's a fun flashback to like one of Johnny Cage's nineties movies with like
terrible effects and you know it's it's good but since he hasn't fought since then and even that kind of didn't count when he's actually fighting yeah there's some sort of slow paced like the movie I think really picks up speed as it goes along just because there's a little less lore and more just let's get down to beating each other senseless and some of the the fights just the the pace picks up I think too so I enjoyed that more and more as the movie went on the fight choreography and
I enjoyed, you know, Cast of Shogun, slumming it in Mortal Kombat movie, just some of the performances here, just really a lot to like.
And obviously there's going to be more.
Mortal Kombat 3 was already teased and announced back last fall.
So unless this thing bombs, which it sure doesn't seem like it's going to, we will in fact have a trilogy completed this time.
And it is going to be written by the same writer, Jeremy Slater.
He's signed on to do that thing.
I guess we can talk briefly about spoilers here.
So we'll talk a little bit, just a couple of spoiler points, be warned.
And then just a little bit of what could happen in Mortal Kombat 3 and the Mortal Kombat versus Street Fighter fight, box office fight that's shaping up for later this year.
So here we go.
Spoiler territory.
The first thing I want to point out here is that the disrespect to Cole Young is
And invulnerable because he has a magical amulet.
I mean, look, I understand why they did this, because Cole Young is an original character for the 2020 run reboot.
