Important distinction.
It's so hard for that to not penetrate my psyche.
Not that Arjuna couldn't be an enforcer on the planet Carcosa and take the fights to the aliens.
I believe in him.
But this is, in fact, Arjun.
And it's a character...
played, I think, extremely well by a recognizable actor who I very much enjoyed in iZombie.
I think that was where I first became familiar with Raul Coley.
But he does an excellent job of portraying this character who is on this planet of Carcosa,
Yes, Carcosa, the Carcosa from True Detective is one thing you might remember it from, not that that's the first incarnation of Carcosa, but it is very much in the vein of Returnal.
And it is, Housemarque is the shoot-em-up bullet hell specialist.
And this is a roguelike in which you are on an alien planet, which is, you know, sort of Hindu-inspired this time instead of Greek-inspired, like Atropos and Selene was in Returnal.
But it's very much the same sort of model, third-party action shooter.
color-coded beams of energy, half bullet hell, half rhythm game.
You want to get into this ballet of death and destruction and feel the flow as you progress through a few different biomes of Carcosa and gradually upgrade your
your character.
So we all really liked Returnal, as did a lot of people.
And this is very much in that vein.
This is very much a don't mess with success, maybe slightly tinker and reskin success.
So we've all sunk the, what is it, you know, 20-ish hours or so that it takes to run through this.
