which is not an issue for me, to be fair.
But if you are too good at the game, you will probably miss much of the story because you are only really getting these insights when you die and you go back to your sort of safe area.
Right.
Yeah, I had the same experience.
Yeah, the first couple areas were challenging, but not frustrating.
I was not bouncing off it.
It was taking me some tries, but usually when a run ended, I was like, let's go, let's get back out there.
And I welcomed the fact that there was a skill tree because there are more permanent opportunities.
And so it was empowering and satisfying.
But yes, it did.
Then there was a point where the difficulty curve just actually started going down and it became kind of a cakewalk in a sense.
And that was...
Sort of disappointing because, you know, there is monotony that's kind of inherent in a roguelike.
But because these runs were shorter, that bothered me less in this game.
And just because the action is so satisfying on a moment to moment basis.
And that's the thing that really hasn't changed.
Just the actual shooting feels as good as it did in Returnal.
And it's very familiar.
Probably better.
Honestly, probably better.
