Maybe, yeah, maybe not this 2026 Blue Jays, but I would love to see that.

I would say Cease is possibly closest based on John Schneider saying there's a chance it could be one and done.

And clearly he has the biggest impact potential.

We've seen that already in the first couple months of the season, fully expect him to be an impact starting pitcher going forward.

So ideal world, he doesn't need too much time.

The hamstring responds well to the agility exercises, the bullpen sessions, and then he's back within, you know,

10 days, let's say.

And whether it's a start, whether it's two starts, not too far off.

Then behind that, I think Scherzer will go start by start.

We were talking to him as, you know, when I say we, you, myself, a couple others in the media were talking to him in the Blue Jays clubhouse here in Atlanta the other day.

He didn't want to get too specific as far as what's next after this Friday outing.

He needs to see how he feels.

But logically, if he's up to a

approaching 60 pitches in this upcoming outing.

Then the next one could be 75.

The next one could be 90.

He's not too, too far off.

Now, the impact isn't the same as a Dylan Cease based on what we've seen from Max Scherzer this year, but having him would definitely help.
