And so what would happen?

And I have this character, she's from Mexico and that the novel begins with her coming over.

Like it's a really hard journey.

She makes her way over and,

through the desert and she comes over, she finds a place to live with some relatives and she gets into this game with, you know, the best she's playing.

Her team is a bunch of, they're not really good and they're playing the best high school team.

Like a lot of players on the team are going on to college and they're already scouted and she's just tearing them apart with a knuckleball one after the other.

but then she gets pulled because she doesn't have documentation.

And she kind of falls off the radar, uh, for 10 years until this, uh, ex minor league pitcher sees her.

And he's like, like, you're amazing.

And kind of, uh,

he wants her to give it a shot, but like she's resistant and that's the novel and he's going through his shit.

And, you know, there's therapy in the book.

Yeah, of course.

Yeah.

Uh, but he's going through his shit and, and trying to figure things out.

And so these parallel stories are coming together as, um,

he helps her and she helps him.

And, um, like it leads to a tryout toward the end.

And like, to me, it's what's possible.
