Uh, but since, since I've joined the alumni and I try to be as, um,
uh, as available as I can for, um, you know, different, uh, different fun activities.
I keep my kids around for that.
Um, like going to say that we're going to be at the, uh, um, the watch party tonight down at, at Rogers, but that, I mean, that has shown me like just a different side of it too.
I I've traveled all over the country now too.
I was in, uh,
None of it to call it and talking to diehard Oilers fans there that are, I mean, truly couldn't be more geographically removed from Edmonton.
And yet that passion is just so prevalent.
And yeah, what a pleasure and a privilege it was to wear the oil drop and put that logo on.
Yeah, and your guys' challenge now, and I guess the challenge up to the fan base, of which I include myself, is to not get too far ahead on our skis, right?
Like, we've had two amazing runs, right?
And unfortunately, fell short.
It's hard.
But, like, if...
If, and I don't want to jinx anything, I think they're going to go through the first round, but if they don't make it out of the first round, do we look at this year and say, oh, man, these guys, I mean, we're so privileged in the past three years to see not only Connor, but the rest of the group and just how solid of a team they are, that your expectations shift, right?
And that can be worrisome as a fan base.
Do your expectations become too bloated because of how well they did the last few years?
Now there's negativity around a playoff berth and a solid first round showing and making it into the second round, but it wasn't as good as last year.
