Well, over the weekend, Hassan Piker got really, really sad.
He got really, really sad because it turns out that federal officials served subpoenas to him as well as to Code Pink co-founder Susan Medea Benjamin, who is a nut job.
All of this, according to Fox News, is part of a wider investigation into whether U.S.
organizations and leaders violated U.S.
laws and sanctions in supporting Cuba's communist regime.
Now, again, you can visit Cuba.
You actually can.
But you're not allowed to stay at particular hotels that are linked with the government or the military.
And you're certainly not supposed to bring aid to, you know, the actual government and military.
Well, apparently, Piker and Benjamin are among the people who've been caught in this federal inquiry into whether activists who traveled there violated sanctions law, including potential contacts with Cuban government personnel or entities on the island.
So there are some administrative subpoenas, according to the Fox News website, called Requests for Information, RFI.
They seek financial, logistical, and communications information revolving around trips.
There were two big trips that were bragged about.
