I think he had to react to a lot of stuff to start the year and have to deal with a big backlog of, this guy's not hitting well, and this guy's new, and this guy is called up from AAA.
Now you're starting to see, okay, they've really got Dalton Varshow in a spot where he's starting to feel good about his approach.
I think they're starting to get Jesus Sanchez in a spot where he's, you know, maybe he's a little bit longer and maybe he is striking out a little bit more, but they're starting to get him into a spot where he's hitting with more authority and becoming more of an impact player.
And they're getting George Springer back on time.
So I think that, you know,
They are clearly a staff that can turn a lineup into a bit of a monster.
They did that last year and deserve a lot of credit for doing that.
I think that they were given a tougher hand this year.
And to a certain extent, a pitching coach is only as good as the hitters that are on their roster and in their lineup.
Same for the managers.
And same for the GMs, although at least the GMs pick the players, at least, I guess.
But I think that the team overall has some faith that these guys are going to get them back on track and that they're going to be pretty good again.
And you're starting to see that.
They are starting to do a little more offensively, although they're still a long way off from where they want to be.
We got the second magnet, so we're going to keep that.
