That doesn't happen with Byron Bucks.
He's one of the best in baseball.
And he's been that for a decade whenever he's been on the field.
Yeah, he hits pretty home runs, I think, especially when you throw him an off-speed pitch or something down, and he can kind of extend his arms and really golf one out.
I mean, he hits them.
He'll hit them hard on the line.
He'll hit these big, towering, majestic shots.
Often they land in the Blue Jay bullpen either way.
He's a guy that changes games, and the home runs haven't necessarily always been the ones to win them the game, but when he hits a big multi-run homer, which he so often does, he flips a game in a way that even last year they didn't have that much of
on their roster.
They were a great offense, but he still brought something unique, probably along with Barger last year, where you felt like, okay, there's a couple runners on, and he might just hit a three-run homer right now on any swing.
And so when they get him going, and I'll be interested to see if he keeps hitting in the two spot because he has hit pretty well over the last little bit, if they keep him going,
Eventually with him and Vlad hitting the way that they are right now, I do think the Blue Jays will score a little bit more.
The 12 hits and only scoring two runs is a negative thing in their finale, but the 12 hits were good.
I mean, they had a lot of guys have good offensive days.
They just did not string it together or come up with it when it mattered most.
Yeah, it's funny.
You know, I don't remember seeing him a lot like this over the years, probably since 2023 when, you know, he was coming off the bench more sporadically.
I'm hoping for him, you know, a little more continued playing time going forward.
I do think that that'll help.
