Is this stopping Dan Bigham from coming up with a screen in your handlebars?
All the ones in the Peloton, from my knowledge, comply with this.
Okay.
I think it's on purpose made like this to not screw over any brands next to the...
Yeah, but... To me, the shout's like...
familiar uci pattern where they point at minor aspects of equipment sidestepping the bigger story about the bigger conversation about parkour design race organization stuff like that as a consequence of a number of crashes i know i've just spoken about changes like that 200 meters stuff and so forth but the 200 meters finishing straight i don't think that solves the napoli finish the napoli finish had a corner further away than 200 meters a hairpin on cobbles
how are they going to write that into a rule?
That is, in my opinion, the subjective take of a UCI safety manager that should look at that and say, that shouldn't be happening.
Then the Razor organizer will probably say, there's nothing in the rules about us not being able to put a hairpin with cobbles at 400 meters to go.
But it won't stop all the issues that we've seen this year already.
But the next thing on the list is front pockets are banned.
And that comes apparently after the UCI noticed that in some races earlier this year, it's something that I read on Twitter at least, that riders were putting gels in front pockets and not eating them throughout the race for aerodynamic improvement purposes.
That sounds like something Jan Willem Oleskamp would do.
Food is essential, but they're now batting front buckets from using that specific plot hole that you just mentioned as a way to change the shape of their aerodynamic front torso.
Yeah.
I don't really care about this rule.
It just feels like we're over-policing a few things sometimes.
Is radio still allowed?
Especially in time trials.
That is the final thing, which is more a UCI news bit instead of just a UCI rule change.
