We've spoken about this tram gear ratio case to try and
explained it in the span of three sentences.
The UCI made a rule or was going to do a test for a potential rule about putting gear ratio limits into the sport of cycling.
Then it was opposed by, I assume, SRAM in front of the Belgian... What is that called again?
Competition Authority?
They declared it as...
UCI fucked up?
Is the Belgian, the Benji way of saying it?
And then the UCI went to the Belgium Supreme Court right now as their last appeals up to date.
That's the way I'd explain it so far.
The one thing that grinds my gears about this is that UCI is using safer money to do this.
Safer is the organization built within the sport of cycling to try and make the sport safer.
And if we spend 300,000 euros, which is what the
number was thrown on on reports and news and so forth of safer money to fight a legal case because from my perspective the uci kind of bottled the way they implemented this rule then then i think that money could have gone to much more important issues in the sport yeah 300 grams you know not small change i don't know if that also covers the appeal to the the belgian don't know
Let's hope they don't have to add more.
Is this why the UCI is allowing all the current bi-computers and not cutting out the big Wahoo one, for example?
Because they want to prevent getting into another court case with Wahoo?
Because they would kick out their biggest one?
my perspective i'm not a bike computer expert but from my perspective that's the case yeah um so
Bro, I don't fucking know.
