I think you're awesome.
And I was like, dude, you should come on my podcast.
And then one day he came on my podcast.
And we hit it off and really hit it off.
And then I had him out on tour with me before he was famous.
I brought him out to do our Fully Loaded Festival, and he sang.
And I can say this candidly, he did not do well.
And he had sang, I think, Son of a Sinner.
But it hadn't popped yet.
He'd just written it.
In Huntsville, Alabama.
No one had heard it yet, and then he said to me, he was like, I'm embarrassed, I want to come out on tour with you, and if you give me a week of being on the road with you, I can do better, I promise.
And I was like, dude, I was like, of course, you can absolutely do that.
And then within the year, between festivals, he became the most famous man alive, and I held him to it.
And he came out and he did... A week.
A week with us.
He flew his own private jet.
He brought his own tour bus.
He brought his own people.
We paid him nothing.
