Have you ever had that encounter where an animal has sort of like gone like, oh shit, obviously not going like Bertie's that you- Well, so in the case of Pataka, so the reason that I know her is that when she was a cub, when she was six months old in 2017, I filmed her for a BBC David Attenborough series called Seven Worlds.
And I was filming her mother, Sermiento.
And Sarmiento was fighting to protect her cubs and feed her cubs and raise her cubs.
And one of those cubs was Pataka.
She was six months old.
She was this little fluffy cubs.
So then I went back, yeah, four or five years later.
And now she has not only survived, which is a big deal for puma cubs because they don't have great survival rates.
But she was now this, her mother had passed away, Sarmiento.
And now she'd taken over her mother's territory and was raising her own cubs.
