I mean, I don't know what would have happened.
You have risk of spontaneous brain bleeds, actually.
And if you don't have platelets, your body can't clot blood.
So you basically would bleed to death.
I don't have a hymen anymore.
It was a really great example of how I could getting a little bit of a second opinion when my doctor was unable.
I really felt like I had agency.
But the interesting thing is I had sort of gone down a deviant path of chat beforehand because I'd been having like weird digestive distress the whole weekend.
And we went down like a whole other path that had me maybe theorizing that I had scurvy.
So, you know, it wasn't until I uploaded the blood work that things started to really escalate.
and it registered in her his or her head like oh this is a serious situation because they're trained for that it was so perfect and i used it the entire time i was at the hospital i was alone at the hospital my husband was at home with my kids so every time a new blood work came in i was like what does this mean what does this say what questions should i ask the doctors when they come here and it was really like an emotional partner for me the whole time too you know what bethany thank you for telling us your story
Well, it's a long story-ish.
So I grew up in Australia, but I was studying, I was at university in the US.
And when I graduated, it was during COVID, so my visa ended.
And Australia wasn't letting anyone back in at all, even if you're a citizen.
Yeah.
So I got my New Zealand citizenship through my dad, and then I moved here.
