So, to see something in Cooper Connolly to give him more time at the crease, as he has this season, Ricky Ponting as coach, has really helped Cooper Connolly blossom.

I mean, there was an 87, there was a 77.

This 100 was in vain, but it's the kind of 100 where it will get talked about for a while to come, even though it came in a loss.

And now that he's back in the squad or he has been retained in the white ball squads for Australia, maybe that's where Australia could look to play him as well.

I'll be surprised if they don't bat him at number three behind Hayden Marsh.
