And once they get their new management team together, he'll slide over to an advisor role and be an alternate governor and not necessarily even work out of Vancouver anymore.
How do we evaluate or how do we, I'd say, summarize the job that Jim Rutherford did in Vancouver over the years?
And I think there are interesting ways perhaps to change the system as a whole, but it is what it is, right?
And the Canucks find themselves where they're at, picking third overall.
And I'm not going to ask you about individual players.
alone individually because I know like you're not you know watching all these prospects but the idea of taking a player who's a D man or a center or just taking BPA when you're picking there at number three as much as you look at a guy like Caleb Malhotra and say he's the best center on the board there might be a D man there that you look at and say well this guy is the best defenseman on the board even if the winger is slightly better does it make sense to go with the D or the center or do you think the Canucks are in a spot where you just take the guy you think is the greatest talent regardless
Yeah.

What was your thought when you kind of heard Pierre Dorian's name around the Canucks?
Okay, so Pierre Dorian, there was a report on the weekend that Pierre Dorian interviewed with the Canucks, and he did, and he was a legitimate candidate for the job.
And then there was a lot of anger and frustration from Canuck fans, and, you know,
There was a lot of, I'd say, negative reaction to it.
And people were mobilizing to contact the organization to not hire Pierre Dorian, the former GM of the Ottawa Senators.
And it looks like he's not going to be the guy.
