But you gave it the right odds.
I think we got into perfect, yeah.
That's going to happen.
Well, yeah, you can...
like when you've put the work in that they have and we always get texts of, hey, it's the Montreal rebuild that people want to see.
Once you stack everything and all the pieces accumulate, it'll flip fast once you're in the competitive window because there are a lot of teams in that mushy middle.
We talked about it years ago with Vancouver.
It's like, hey, you can jump a lot of these teams because you have a young Quinn Hughes.
You have a young Elias Pettersson.
So those teams that are kind of stagnant, you can leapfrog them really fast.
And so for Montreal, it's been, you know, trying to stack all these pieces together over the years.
But now you've got this young team and you just see like how quickly you can go from arriving on the playoff scene and leapfrogging some teams here.
And yeah, they look a serious threat all of a sudden.
So where are the pitfalls here?
I think that's the question here because there are certain things that
montreal has done that i think vancouver has already done right because if you compare you know to foley charot kulak going out just look at sherwood myers garland it's not perfect like for like examples but that kind of middle tier player like some of the kinds of transactions mirror that as well
So... And also, it's like, this team has drafted a lot of D-men, too.
Yeah.
We're sitting here talking about, hey, draft forwards right now.
So, is there going to have to be a center that they can draft later?
