Joe, I agree with you on the three-on-three.
You know, on May 4, 2000, I was at that Philadelphia Penguin game until 2.30 in the morning, five overtimes, when Keith Primo shot a goal past Ron Tugnut, and both my son and my heart almost fell out.
Then I had to drive all the way home to the North Hills, and then
end up having to get up at 6.30 in the morning for work.
So a lot of these playoff games can go on just about forever.
And, you know, I like the full period of 20 minutes that they were going to play yesterday, but the three-on-three just makes it so much more exciting.
You know, just for that reason, Joe.
I mean, I've seen so many games of it years ago, four or five periods.
It just goes on and on forever.
I think that night was five hours on May 4th.
I was at that same Flyers overtime game as your last caller, and I also drove back to the North Hills.
But on yesterday's game, the first goal by that Boldy with that amazing thing where he split the two defensemen and popped the puck up in the air on his stick, did that at all remind us of the Mario goal that they built the statue for?
Hey, one other quick point.
I think there may have been a goat for Canada.
