Here's my Norm story.
My 16-year-old son at the time, Norm is playing Long Island out in Huntington.
And we go to see him.
And Norm and I had a very good relationship.
So we went backstage, so he looks at my son and he goes, whose name is Spencer, he goes, Spencer, I've got one piece of advice for you.
My son's 16, and he loves Norm.
What's that, Mr. McDonald?
Don't smoke crack.
Of all the advice?
Yeah.
It was very Norm.
yeah and then my sons look at me like what what yeah no there's only one norm and one dennis those guys you know fantastic and i was privileged to uh to uh interact with both of them i i have to say uh because what you guys do is very very difficult thank you no it's it's hard to show this
Because you've got to be on it all the time.
Expectations are through the roof.
And you've got to perform.
You've got to come through.
It's like hitting clean up for the Dodgers.
If you're going to ground it in a double play, you're not going to be there long.
And if you don't, then you blame yourself.
Because who else is there to blame?
